    Live PL 1/2

Previous had MP had AA and won a nice pot with it.

    I have €250ish

I limp utg with KK. usual couple of limpers and MP (mr AA from last hand) Pots it to €13. 2 callers and I make it €70, folded to MP who repots it. What my move?

overall getting all your cash in with KK pre-flop will be profitable.
Get it in there and if has AA again so be it.

clearly he had secreted the two bullets from the previous hand up his sleeve

you, being an astute and observant player, immediately deduced this and folded your hand face up

This thought did cross my mind, and I did ask had he held onto the Aces from the last hand.

Ste05 said easy push. Why? What hand do we put him on that re re rasies a tight player (me:D ) He had not been at the table that long but was tight enough also. Do we care what he has or do we always ship it in and BB sticky it the next day if thats the case..?

He'll have AK, and QQ some of the time, AA some of the time, and some other random donkey sh1te the rest of the time. You already have €70 of your €250 invested so just chuck it in and re-load if you lose. You shouldn't be looking for reasons to fold KK pre-flop in a cash game especially with ~125 BB's, just bang it in...

I put him on aces, then shove in my chips and hit a king on the river.

Was this in the SE on Sunday night?

You need a very strong read to ever fold this hand preflop.

So let me guess - you hit a King on the flop?

Yes it was in the SE Sunday night. So you know the result already, What seat were you in?

I was just interested to see if anyone was folding Kings preflop. I, as I said at the time, am not good enough to so I shipped it in. And yes he had Aces again, but luckily my bad call was rewarded with a K on the flop.

Folding KK pre-flop is up there with folding a set on the flop because you fear a higher set. When he has AA at least you can dog him 18% of the time instead of the lousy 4% in the set over set situation. I can never remember folding KK pre-flop. I've considered it a few times and called to often see AK,AQ,44 or the "random donkey sh1te" as Ste so eloquently put it

I've had 2 times, holding KK, when there was simply no other hand I could put my opponent on except aces due to the preflop action. Knowing he had aces, there was only one thing to do...SHOVE IT! I hit a king both times, although I did lose 1 of them when he hit a straight on the river to suck out on me ;-)

There's something about those kings. I've seen so many people admit that they KNEW, 100%, that they must be up against aces, and they still shipped it.

I think I will truly know I've graduated to being a good player when I can throw away kings preflop. It won't even matter if I was right or not.

 you must fold here lad! and also if you have AA in this spot its a insta fold cause he prob has the other AA and there is a pretty good chance he will finish up with the nut flush . the only hand you can call here with is a pair of twos cause if you hit the flop he will never put you on it however if the flop came something like 2 3 9 id prob lay down my set to an all in flop bet. to be honest the best thing you could do is buy in for about 500 sit tight dont play any hands and if your lucky you might lose 50 quid .

You should be beaten for limping UTG with KK.

You should be beaten for posting such a stupid thread.

Ligger I was about 5 seats to your left.

    On a board of K 10 9 9 8 with 3 hearts, I lead for about 55 and get raised to circa 155.

Me: "Did you make your flush on the river buddy?"

    Villan: "Yep."

Me: "I don't believe you. [Pause] Pot."
