We're getting Sky+ this week. We've been with Sky for 10 months. Will we get to keep our old sky box even though we haven't completed the initial 12 month contract, because I have plans for the old box...

    Thanks

Theoretically, since the 10 month old box is subsidised on the basis that you'll complete a 12 months minimum term, but haven't done so, Sky could ask for it back. Highly unlikely they will though.. :)

You could connect the old box to one of the free lnb outputs on the new Sky+dish? I believe it will also accept the Sky card with some restrictions, assuming you don't power down the old box once set up.
