    I'm getting a sky+ box this week. I've been with sky for 10 months. Because I'm inside my initial 12 months, will I be allowed keep my old sky box?

    I would say yes , as far as I know its yours anyway , regardless , they will want you to keep it so that they can offer you multiroom.

    Do you think the installer would put the old box in another room just for the FTA channels (ie. no multiroom charge)?

    I got to keep the old box no prob. It's set up in a spare room now FTA!
