Tourqe. You needs lots of tourqe. Stock can motors (23t or 27 turn are great)

firstly drift spec tyres, depends on what you run

    electric>pvc/abs are fine

nitro> hard rubber compound like hpi drift tyres

also locking or stiffing the rear diff makes drifting alot easier try stiffining the locking, locking seems to work well on electric while stiffining seems better for the nitro, but this could just be my prefrence

if its nitro you need major air flow over the engine, when cutting the body i cut the front window out fully on a drift shell and cover the rear window in holes also i slice louves in the rear passenger windo to direct more air in.

something that is needed alot more than practice although most on here will proberbly disagree is lots and lots of stickers and crazy paint you just CANT drift without it :D

couldn't agree more :D, crazy jap style all the way, haha, i run electric and i find tightening the back diff works fine, most people will lock the back diffs with TT-01s but i wouldn't dare do that to my beloved yokomo, hahaha :D
