    Hand 1

    Effective stacks 200
Villain on button is not long at table, no info yet.

I'm in CO with 7d8h, three limps, I limp as does villain.

    Flop (14) A 5 6r, UTG bets 5, folded to me, I raise to 20, villain re-raises to 50, UTG folds, I call.

Turn (119) 8c, I check, villain bets 110 putting me in.

Should I 4-bet the flop or fold, should I call now? Considering the standard on this table, there's a chance villain has a bare A, so it's possible my 7 is live.

    Hand 2.

    Effective stacks 170
Villain in this hand is not long at table either, the only hand he's been involved in he check called a PSB on a flushing flop, then pushed for 100 when flush hit turn.

I'm in SB with 3d3s, folded to button (drunk donk, v loose, raising a lot, folding to resistance) who makes it 7, I call as does villain in BB.

Flop (21) Jc4d8c, checked to button who bets 20, I raise to 60, BB flat calls, buton folds.

    Turn (161) 3c, I check, villain pushes for 105

    Call?

Hand 1, you turned a profitable spot into an unprofitable one by raising. If you 4 bet the flop I doubt you get an ace to fold, so thats out of the question. Just flat call the 5

Hand 2 You are risking too much to win too little, heads up the raise is ok (not great) with a person to act its bad. Once you hit your set you cant fold for a good bit less than the pot.

Yeah HJ has it spot on.

Yep I agree with HJ and Cardshark,

    1: Call the 5
    2: Instacall now.

    Ok.
Nobody wants to build the pot a little in hand 1? My raise there is not a semi bluff, it usually won't fold out bottom pair in that game. I just expected a flat call and a free river if I don't hit the turn.

In hand two, is a CR really that bad there? As it turned out the BB made a horrible call with 10c5c, do I not get through enough for this to be profitable? Bear in mind, my read on button is, he's 95% folding here.

I doubt your 8 outs are good, possibly the 2 sevens
