OEM software download sites - are they legit?

I got a spam email telling me to go here: http://www.oem-os.com/.

Looks interesting, and I'm sure buying OEM software could be a good bit cheaper. But are they legit? Do you get the program and legitimate serial number or are they simply scams, getting people to part with their money for something that could be found off a torrent site for free?

first rule of email offers, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Second rule of email offers, if you didn't ask for it, DO NOT BUY IT!

Unsolicited product emails are always scams; no exceptions. They are there only to get your bank details & clean out your account.

Oh, and don't forget one of the prime rules of The Internet: everything can be got free; it's just not legal.

    *edit* replaced "spam" with "scam"
