MMDS in Ashbourne

HI All, Could anyone from ashbourne confirm that the service out there is MMDS? I was trying to setup a cable box for someone and no channels would come in. Someone told me that they don't work on MMDS only true cable. Also if it is MMDS is that the whole of ashbourne or just some of the areas. Thanks Sham

NTL MMDS is available anyway. Folks have it, not sure about coverage but they're close to the Community centre if that helps.

What sort of cable box?

If its not supplied by the cable company then its illegal and cannot be talked about here.

DVB-C is used by NTL cable or MMDS. DVB-T is used by Chorus MMDS.
