The atmosphere there is ok but not great, canteen is really bad. I used to work for company which took care about their PC's for them not for pfizer directly.

They're not being that bad too them to be honest about it. It wasn't a case of "It's closing tomorrow" but one of "we're going to have to close it in X months and we'll try to get someone else to take over the place before we have to shut it down". That and it was a global job cut with even the plant which Pfizers started out in being closed so they could have been a lot worse to their employees in this country. 62 people were being made redundant some time this year and 450 jobs were under threat because the the operations they were part of were being sold (ie no guarantee that the new owners would keep them all on) but that's not that bad from a realists perspective. If they just decided to leave all 500 go at short notice it would have been far harsher on people.

From what I've heard from chatting to people that work there, Pfizers are ok to work for. Not the best but definitely not the worst either.

they are grand to work for, i know a few people that have been in pottery road for a good while, normally see a lot of them in bakers of a friday. nothing special but certainly treat the staff as well as anyone else.
