Already Got Multiroom Looking For Sky Plus?

Would anyone know the best way around this - the folks at home have already got 2 digiboxes with multi room subscription - one in main sitting room and one in a second room - I'm looking to get them Sky plus for the main sitting room but at the same time, I'd like to move the original sky box to the kitchen for the FTA channels for the mammy - without have to pay an extra multi room sub.

Do ya think if I get the Sky plus installed in the Kitchen then afterwards swap it with the sky box in the sitting room - would that be possible? I'm not sure if there are two cables for the Plus box because of the 2 feeds?? Or would I just get the guy installing it to put the plus box in the sitting room and ask him to move the other box to the kitchen - probably would cost a lot extra?

To use Sky+ in the sitting room, you'll need to have an second feed coming into there, as you currently only have one. Once you get your Sky+ box, the old standard box from the sitting room can certainly be moved to the kitchen for FTA use. However, you of course need a feed going to the kitchen.

So, the installer has two tasks then, getting a second feed to your sitting room in order to use Sky+, and getting a single feed into your kitchen for FTA use. As this is a non-standard installation, you might want to approach an independent installer rather than going to Sky.

Subscription wise, since there is no longer an additional monthly charge for Sky+ facilities, you will pay your standard subscription + the €15 for multiroom (basically, it doesn't change from your current subscription).
