[REQ] Good value LCD Widescreen Monitors

I'm after a new LCD widescreen monitor to plug in to my laptop. I was looking on Dell's website and the prices are pretty hefty.

Anyone know any good deals for monitors around at the minute? Not overly fussed about the make of the monitor as long as its decent quality.

    Cheers.

EDIT: Should probably also say that this won't be used for gaming. I'm a Graphic Design student so just need a good display for using Illustrator, Photoshop etc.

I was looking at these 2 - seemed to have gotten great reviews and the price is great:

Any particular size? What's your budget? I've been considering getting the LG 19" LCD L194WT for a while, sneaking it in to the house without the wife noticing is the only issue to be resolved.

    Resolution: 1440 x 900
    Brightness: 300 cd/m2
    Contrast: 2000:1
    Response Time: 5 ms
    VGA & DVI connection

    It's €195 on Komplett.ie

I'd love to get one for €150, to go over €150 would be massively stretching my finances. Although if its really worth it then I may do.

Not really that bothered if its "19/"20. Whichever is the best deal really.

If you're looking to use the screen for design work I'd suggest you ask on the Creative Ireland forum's looking for suggestions. LCD screens are now great for gaming but funny things can happen in the likes of InDesign and Photoshop so you would be best served by the recommendations of designers.
