There is a server somewhere in the US that holds incredibly high res satellite images, but I'm not sure if it covers the US only so it may not do you any good.

There must have been some kind of survey done over Ennis recently for the new road so one would think there has to be something out there. Maybe try your local planning dept or the Ordnance Survey folks. If not satellite, they may have some decent aerial photographs available
