work from home???

I'm sure this thread has been done before but:

Does anyone know of any legitimate work from home jobs that have good pay?

I'm currently in a bind as far as work and school are concerned. I'm working at sears and am taking summer classes for college, but once fall time starts up, i'll be taking 7 classes (full time student) and my schedule will not give me the time to be going back and forth to work. I also tend to go home to my moms house on the weekend, as I am a family oriented person.

Basically, I need to get a work from home job to help my mom pay the bills and to help myself pay for college.

I've been looking up being a medical or law transcriptionist, but most places require you to be a yr, 3 yrs or 5 yrs expierenced and since I'm not that expierenced, that dream has pretty much been shot down.

I've sent out resumes to 57 medical offices in order to be a transcriptionist, but I dont think anyone really wants someone that's not expierenced.

I am a good typer, but i'm not fully computer literate. Meaning, i'm not talented enough to make websites (although, its probably very easy for some people).

Also, I've tried those things where you pay the $39.99 ahead of time to be a typer or whatever it is they say (i know, stupid) and it turned out to give me the name of companies that want you to fill out surveys...needless to say, you fill out the survey and then they only pay you if you offer to try their product. Otherwise, if you say no to the product, they have you fill out the survey and then say something along the lines of 'you're not the person we're looking for...but thank you for volunteering'...I dont do scams such as those.

I'm just in quite a need for money, so if anyone has any information as to how to work from home, I'd be greatful.

    Thanks

I apologize, I just read the sticky about no personal details, but in this case--they were probably needed so people could understand the situation and why i'm looking for a 'work from home' job.

This may not be quite the right place for advice for your situation as I doubt many people would be familiar with American companies and legislation... I personally amn't aware of any such opportunities available but if anyone knows please let me know too!

You could always try a data entry position.

Im sure there's something like that around.I'd have a few searches prepared for you from monster, but Ive no idea where abouts you are in the US.

    Try monster.com

Data entry is exactly what it says on the tin. Just entering data into a system, or onto a page on a computer, from a form or whatever. Its a pretty easy job.

    Best of luck!

Forgive me everyone for making so many replies. I'm new on here, so i'm not quite sure how to do a multi-quote.

In reference to this, I have tried to find some data entry jobs, but most of the ones i've looked at happen to be scams. Meaning, they all ask for money ahead of time. I've tried the giving money once and as I stated, it comes out to just show you a list of surveys that you apply to and you end up having to try the product before you get money.

I live in Arizona in America.

And thank you, I will try the website you suggested.

I apologize to the person that posted after me...i wasnt sure where this was supposed to go and i figured it was work related, so thats where it would go. The mods can move it if they wish.

I havent tried that just yet. I am going to try it (as i havent figured out exactly how to sell things on ebay yet without buying the kit that tells you how to buy things)...the only problem is, the only thing i'd really have to sell at this moment would be books from my previous college i went to.

And thank you for the suggestion.

I've worked at burger king last summer. But like i said, with my full time school schedule coming up in the fall time, i wont have the time to be going back and forth to work and end up going home to my mom's house on the weekends.

That's why i'm looking for work from home, and more importantly, something that's less stressful. I know i'm good at typing and I'd like to be able to do something that I'm good at.

But thank you for the suggestion.

Keep all suggestions coming. I'm open to anything that'll help.

Sorry again guys. I actually didnt realize this website was for certain countries. I kinda just realized since I havent seen anyone else on here from America but myself, and also in the regions section, it doesnt state anything as far as America...so, I do apoloigze in advance for that.

Disregard this post and I will find another website to go to...

thanks to those that helped. :)
