360 problem

Well, to start off. I have had my 360 since launch, connected to my HDTV by component and has never let me down.

Out of nowhere as I'm playing the 360, the image on the screen goes strange. The only way to describe it is, it's as if the game is now in 16bit colour. The colours are gone strange and the graphics are more pixilated.
I turned it off and back on, it was OK for a few seconds and then went all strange again.

I turned it off for a few hours and came back to try it again, now nothing comes up on the screen, just a ''no signal'' message on my HDTV. The 360 is working fine, no red lights, no funny noises.

At first I thought it was the HDTV but my Wii works fine with component connection, and my PS2 works OK on it.

So is it the component cable or is my 360 somehow knackered?:(

You probably already checked, but did you check to see if the cable came loose or the slider button on the side of the cable moved?
