I walk with myself, the only one I know
In a different world to the one you see.
I look up and I see a sign
Welcome to lonelyville, population, me.
I’ve seen it before, a thousand times and more
I wish that you would notice me

I’m standing in the open, you’re oblivious
I’ve tried my best but it’s no good
Where did I go wrong?
I guess the list is long
And I just can’t move on.

Thinkin’ back on that night, thought it would go right
Had it all planned in my head…

But you fled with another guy standing next to me
This has happened before, I’ve been standing at the door
