I`m a guitarist. mainly rythm but will do some lead too. I am looking to start a band. nothing serious. I just want to get together with a band, and mainly have fun. No expectations. I would like to get some gigs too, just for experience, wheter its covers or if its origionals, BOTB, our own gigs, whatever, i dont mind. No Experience Required.

Im lookin for a bassist,drummer,vocalist,and a 2nd guitarist. ages 16-19. now, i cant at the moment travel alot and rent rehearsal places and such, so i would be hopin that someone interested ,like a drummer, would have a place to rehearse, in north dub. coolock,raheny,killester,artane , u know.

my influences band wise are; rhcp, beatles, 45 grave, circle jerks, black flag, jimi hendrix,Ramones, nirvana, libertines and many many more. I would like to start an "underground" band like the libertines , strokes, you know, alternative british and american music, and 70s and 80`s punk and hardcore.just rehearsing and playin small gigs (as ud have to)writing rockin , passionate songs. I'm 19 n the vocalist/rhythm guitarist. I've got a bassist (but he's off for the summer on holidays). I'm looking for a 2nd guitarist for the band. (2nd guitarist gotta play lead for the post-hardcore stuff n rhythm n lead for the hardcore stuff). I'm also looking for a drummer but i've got a drummer friend who can be a temporary drummer till i find a full time drummer. Though i'm looking for dedicated musicians. Dedication counts more than skill for me.

I've got nothing written yet. I'm looking for a guitarist to colaborate with to work on the song writing. I'm not very skilled yet to come up with descent songs but i'm good at writing lyrics.

I've got a place to practice in the city centre.
So if you're interested lemme know. I'm pretty much looking for something similar to you too. Looking to start off underground. Keep the band more focused on doing gigs and contributing to the hardcore scene. Loud, energetic gigs with awesome music, moshpits n loads of fun!

And its gotta be fun! or else there's no point to the band! I see punk/hardcore as more of a lifestyle than a genre of music.

Mentioning "hardcore" for people to not confuse my music with pop punk like green day and blink 182...

So yeah, my band needs a guitarist n a drummer. But not a bassist... I've got a cool dedicated bassist...
