How much would you reckon for this in Dublin 6?

Drill hole through solid redbrick wall and connect into adjacent piping for kitchen tap, run pipe through hole in the wall and install tap. Seal hole.

Probably 300 euro, but very much dependent on how close the pipe is to where you want it.

Why not get a rain water barrel? Probably cheaper.

Outside taps connected to the mains are strongly frowned upon.

Pipe is adjacent. Straight through the wall.

Hadn't thought of a barrel. Might not go down well with the other residents. it's a small house. Will think about it. Thanks.

The last tap I done for someone ,I charged 90 euro.

That was for installing from a pipe that was feeding a toilet and was from the tank.

    ballooba Do it yerself

Cost me the 22 euros for the outside tap kit from woodies and then about 10 euros for the self tapping connection onto the cold water pipe. Took mins 30 mins to do.

(As long as you have the LOOOOOOONG drill bit)

    regards
