GND Filter Advice

I'm looking to get a GND Filter that I can stick in front of the glass my weather webcam views through.

As you can see, the sky is totally washed out :-

For a weathercam especially this is a bad thing - that image should show some blue sky with some white high cloud but its just featureless currently.
If I tilt it upwards, the sky details are fine but the greenery almost looks black and featureless

I need something that about 10cm x 10cm approximately (the cam is about 4cm from the glass hence need such a big filter) I think.
Can I buy these here in Ireland at this kind of size, and if so where ?
Or is there something else that might do the trick also?

    Thanks.

Cokin do filters that size, and bigger: http://www.cokin.com/ico15/ico15-haut.html?.

I get mine from John Gunn Cameras on Wexford St. (though they're closed for hols at the moment),

Dave, do you know if John does other brands? The Cokin ones have a reputation for having a colour cast.

I use mine for black and white landscapes so the colour cast is not an issue for me. I was under the impression that they also did Lee Filters, but I couldn't swear on that,

Actually, Danny, for what it's worth, I went about trying to use Rymus' ND filter and GND filter the other day on the 24-70, and found there was a hell of a lot of vignetting... If you were going for the filters for your 24-105, I'd advise you give that a check first!

Gunns have a VERY limited range of GND filters , they don't do lee filters for sure because i checked. I got lee filters from Robertwhite.co.uk and the service and price was very good. I have stacked 2 filters on my Canon 16-35mm @ 16mm with no vignetting whatsoever, so you would have no problem with vignetting on the 24-105.You just use the wide angle adapter.I've yet to try it with the third slot holding a filter. The Lee system is expensive , but they are very good. There is also a system called Hi-tech which have gotten very good reviews, comparing favourably with the Lee system, and they are a fair bit cheaper.

Thanks lads. I'll be using them mostly on the 17-40 I'd say. Must get the finger out and order them before the hols. I'll have a look at the HiTech. Lee is damned expensive and I probably wont be using them a lot.

Them clouds look familiar, I think they just passed over my house in Lucan:)

Glad it's worked out for you,
