    Also not glass bottles allowed

    Beers or Spirits?

A case of prazsky served me well in the past, as has Tuborg.

Southern Comfort is a rather easy drink to have straight if weight is an issue.

I've also enjoyed wine in a box for the drink that's not too strong and is meant to be warmish (twas red obviously)

Vodka - volume as small as can be, clean drunkeness, no hangover. Drink it straight, don't be p*s*y.

Turbo G!!!!! aka Tuborg. it's the best of the 6 for €7 crowd

gonna stay with a slab of Bavaria myself, stick with it and it'll respect ya. I'll also probably bring up a bottle of Vodka, it's in the freezer as we speak.

You can buy plastic flagons of buckfast now... That one's a good festival tipple.
Vodka's good for less trips to the portaloos, but dont drink too much of it....

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten buckfast! I had one of the best nights ever at one of the early ********es after a bottle of the stuff. I dunno why, but it's really the ultimate party drink! :P

Do any festivals openly state that you can bring in drink?

you can get kopparberg in cans, they are only new as the drink became more popular. it's not as nice from the can.

    my festival drinkies will be

2litre bottle of jack daniels (2 for $55 in duty free :D)
some cans, of which i don't know don't want to get headache in a can so i'm not sure.

What did everyone opt for in this regard? I brought (and drank) the following

1L bottle of Kick (€1) w/ 350 ml tesco vodka (€8.50)... brought two of these!
700ml olsens peach schnapps (€10).. with blackcurrant.. two of these also!
8 cans of blackthorn (€10, special offer)

€50 altogether, and provided for a great weekend! (didnt go up till saturday though)
