I'd like to summarise my views on this trailer in 3 brief points:

    - Jason Bateman... i expected better!
    - EVERY single thing about this trailer irritated the arse off me!
    - Anyone affiliated with Willy Wonka should sue!

    Seconded.

    That was truly awful.

Plus points: It is written and directed by Zak Helm, plus has Natalie Portman.
Negative points: It looks not so nice.

Sweet Jesus that looks absolutly terrible. What the hell is the great Jason Bateman doing, I can only assume it involved taking the money and running.

Had no idea who that was so had to IMDb it - he wrote 'Stranger Than Fiction'.... and practically nothing else of merit.

Wouldn't go so far as to call the guy "great" just yet. I found the direction and visuals in 'Stranger Than Fiction' more impressive than the actual screenplay.

Well it certainly wasnt a masterpiece, but it showed alot of promise with some very interesting ideas, which is unfortunately rare in widely released Hollywood ("we love franchises!") pictures these days. Perhaps I got up in all the 'ZOMG he is teh new Charlie Kaufman' hype (heck, even the mention of the great Kaufman's name makes me once again gain faith in the movie industry).
But this certainly looks unspectacular, there is no denying that.
