To cut a long story short i was separated 4 years ago and for money reasons i moved back in with my mother.
She is the best in the world but when it comes to certain things she is a pain in the backside.
She thinks that because i was married and have a child that my social life must stop...i see my child probably more now than i did when i was married as i spend quality time with my child and would see the child 3 or 4 times a week and go off on treats at least one day a week..mcdonalds.liffey valley to cinema etc.
I would see my girlfriend about twice a week..No issues midweek as my ex has her midweek nights but if i suggest going out on a saturday night then the nagging starts and she makes me out to be the worst father in the world..Gas thing is that my child would be asleep before i would be going anyway.
My ex has no probs minding my child the odd saturday nite as she has mentioned it loads of times that i need a weekend off but the mother would hear none of it.She loves to see her grandchild like every grandmother should buit an odd weekend away from her is not going to kill her.
Sorry for sounding like a school kid and a whinger but this is getting me down.

You need to find a place of you own before things get worse between you and your mother
