New york gigs?

    Sup folks?

    Heading to NY and san fan in september, lookin for info on gigs in the cities.
    Anyone know any sites for gigs there?

    Ticketmaster only have the big gigs. would like to go to the venues.

    http://www.ohmyrockness.com would be the best. I booked in Dublin for gigs, no problem picking up at the venue.

    Theres a few more, mainly by venue, like the Tonic club.

    The Village Voice website is a sure thing. When you're there, pick up a copy of it, and The Onion.

    Also, sign up to and take a look at Last.fm.

    But, really, OhMyRockness should be all you'll need.

    yeah, last.fm is a great site and no need to sign up to check for gigs

    What I do is just skim through Ticketmaster beforehand and then when I'm over there, I pick up an Events Guide and see what else is on. ;)

My name is Maebh, I'm an emcee from Waterford - I have some gigs in Brooklyn from 13th to 16th September as part of this festival called Conflux, it's an mp3 city tour leading to and preparing you for the gig, if you're interested drop me a line on myspace.
