Bloody Nose

Hi Guys,

I'm just wondering has anyone every experienced this before or do they know what might me behind it? I'm not actually getting nose bleeds but my snot over the ast few days has been very bloody and blood does come out when i blow my nose. I've also been feeling quite snuffly, like its the onset of a cold. Any ideas?:(

I had this when I was a teenager. I used to get nose bleeds 5-6 times a day and wound up anemic.

Combined with combat sports, sinusitis and a bad habit of picking I damaged the veins (capilliaries? sp).

I eventually wen to the eye & ear hospital and had the interior of my nasal passages cortorised (sp?) and since then I have NEVER had a nose bleed (10+ years). Its a odd feeling proceedure but painless and it works brilliantly.

Go and see your GP and have him take a look at your schnozz, chances are they will either send you to the eye & ear or prescribe a spray.

You need to see a doctor, could be a delicate vessel that keeps bursting or any number of other things. You will be referred to an ear, nose, throat specialist for further tests
