Is there anyway to find out when/if a civil case is to be heard? I've looked on courts.ie but cannot find a reference to it. Unfortunately both the parties have very common names! Is there some other way to find out if you are been sued in a civil case?

If you are being sued you should have been served with a summons or civil bill depending on what level of court the case is in.

No, it's not me fortunately.... it's a lying scanger and a city centre bar. Scanger is saying something happened, which I know did not, in order to get money out of the bar. I don't want him to succeed. Ah well, guess I'll keep scanning courts.ie

Have proceedings been commenced yet? This person could merely be taking about suing. If you want to know at what stage the dispute is at, speak to one of the parties. If you can provide information or give evidence against one of the parties, then I'm sure the other would appreciate it.
