Anyone know of any good forums or pubs or whatever for the Galway area?

Had no luck at all finding a forum that's still active, and haven't seen anything remotely close to a LBG pub in the area.

There's a gay pub called Strano's on the corner of lower dominick street (Just a few steps away from the Roisin Dubh) if that helps, but that's all I know about.

Try whatever the NUI Galway LGBT club forum is. I think it was called pluto.

There are two pubs that I know of, Stranos and the Stage door. Strano's is a bit dingy, but nice and homely. It's opposite the Rosin Dubh. The Stage door is a bigger pub, quite nice in my experience. afaik it's recently been done up. You'll find it near the town hall.
I won't give you proper addresses or directions becasue I'm useless at it, but ask any randommer in Galway city for directions and they should know the way.

There's also a nightclub called Eden, which takes place on certain nights of the week above a pub near the Galway hostel. If you like dancing this is the place for you. It was definately my most enjoyed venue in Galway. Again, ask for proper directions when you're there.
