I've only had chorus a month last night pressed a button by accident. I think it was the "menu" button. Anway one of the options was "Record". I was curious so I pressed it and it started recording. I couldn't change the channel while it was recording. I'm just wondering where did the recording go?? I mean if i wanted to play back what I was recording how would I?

I may be wrong, but AFAIK it just locks the channel so that the recording (to your VCR) will be ok.

If you weren't recording on the VCR then it didn't go anywhere.

Yes, its just a channel lock for external VHS or external DVD/HDD recorder.

As Shamrock already stated, the chorus record function is simply a way of setting your decoder to switch to the channel specified at the time you input so that you can record that channel, to a vcr by connecting it via a scart lead and selecting the av channel on your vcr or dvd recorder.

Thanks for that. I use the Record function quite a bit for preset-recording but I've previously been unable to interupt it.
