Playing World of Warcraft via a socks proxy

I have World of Warcraft working under wine, the problem is there is a socks proxy in the way, so I cant connect directly. I would use ssh forwarding, but that only works for a specific hostname like say us.login.worldofwarcraft.com. I can get to the login gateway no problem but that server then reconnects you to another server who's ip I dont have.

Can anyone recommend a socks client that works for all hostnames and ports when its configured? Would you also mind giving me an example of a configuration.

    Cheers all!
