Paying Clemens a silly amoutn of money to play 2/3 of a season and so far he's 1-3 with a 5.32 ERA and didnt strike out anyone last night for the first time in 200 starts :eek: At the same time the Sox are slumping a little, and Toronto bats are coming around. The lead is in single digits now!....Worried yet Sox fans?

I'm pretty certain that Clemens was signed at the behest of the Boss signing.

In a word, no.

I will be worried if/when we make the playoffs and still have Julio Lugo in our lineup and Ortiz and Ramirez playing as they are now. And Mike Timlin coming on in the 7th. And hitters figuring out Okajima.
