    Hi,

I live in Dub City and since i've moved there, i have been out good few nights a week never able to say no! Theres a big group of us that head out but at this stage its starting to turn into Groundhogs Day and stopped being fun. Anybody ever get in that rut? Have tried to think of different places to go but usually end up in the same type of places with the same crowds.

Anybody got any ideas what to do this weekend other than going clubs/pubs etc?! We even were thinking Camping with a few beers but the weather is pants! Also wont meet women out in the woods... Well not the types were into :)

They have a pool hall in the palace on camden street. been there a couple of times. very good. its a pub too obviously so can get the best of both. not too great for women but still worth a shot.

Do what the rest of us do!

    if it gets dull,

    Change drinks,

    Change drinking arm,

    swap stools,

    Use a different urinal,

tie a one sleeve to your drinking arm wrap the jumper around your neck and use the other sleeve to as a lever to bring the glass to your mouth.

Only you can make the changes!!

pubs, dull pfft! you have some nerve!!! you must be french. :D

I find in Dublin I never get sick of nights out as theres something different to do every night of the week.
Try Flannerys on a monday night for the table quiz, great fun.
On a Wedensday head to the hapenny bridge for a comedy gig. Its an improv nite so you get all types up on the stage and is always a laugh
On a Thursday hit whelans for a band and good indie night out.

On the campin front I once went camping with an ex boyf up in the wicklow mountains. Was great fun and really is something special

Cheers lads. Think ill just stop going to the same clubs and maybe drink less! As for playing pool, not my idea of fun. Wanna go where there are a few women to tell you the truth. Will hold out this weekend though thinking i might be in need of a detox :)

By the way anyone ever been in Gigs Place on near Portobello Bridge? Class place serves til all hours food and wine
