    reads/stats?

    1. fold
    2. call
    3. fold

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,400 ✭✭✭TacT

fold 1, little invested and too much heat.

flat call 2 but I would not be happy about it after his min-raise on the turn.

fold 3 since you have no info to go on and wait for someone else to give it to you when they're in a hand with him.

    To jump on the bandwagon
    Fold
    Call
    Fold

What's he likely to have in hand 1? If hand 1 and hand 2 are the same player is folding hand one really as straghit forward a fold as hand 2 is a straight forward call?

I would fold all of them most of the time. 2 is closer.

In hand 1, He has a set a lot here and sometimes a straight, I just don't see anything he can have that you beat with this line bar a bluff and without any stats on him I will just take default line.

Hand 2, he raised it utg instead of limping like hand 1 so this means he has aa/kk a bit here which he decided to "slowplay" on the flop. I think he has them and a busted draw enough to justify the call.

lol! This forum is so full of nits it's getting ridiculous.

    Hand I shoved. He folded.
Hand 2 I called. He had KJ
Hand 3 I called he had T-6 of spades.

Hand 1 You risked 170 to win 30 odd. You will rarely get called by a worse hand and when you do get called you will usually be drawing dead. You also risked it on a board against an UTG limper who could eaisly have hit the flop really hard and slowplayed. Call me a nit but thats just terrible.

Hand 2 Fine. Definitely the closest of the three.

Hand 3 The only problem is that every single draw has hit by the end. Your line looks like air so calling is fine as your hand is totally underrepresented.

If you think he has AA/KK a lot in this hand then it just got there on the river so I presume you are reading the board wrong. I think hand 2 is a relatively straightforward call though as it doesn't really play like either AA/KK.

Yep, I completely missed that the board paired so ignore what I said

Fold all three depending on stats.
I might call the third one or second sometimes.

Unless they are really tight I don't see why people want to fold these.
Hand 1 I probably would have called then check the river and hope he bluff a little more given his stack size I don't see whats wrong with a push.
Hand 2 Any time I see someone post a blind UTG I mark them as gamblers/idiots so they could have anything, call.
Hand 3 Unless they have 44 I think you are ahead. Doubt they are betting 40 on the river after hitting the flush or straight.
Unless you have solid reads to go against calling I don't see why not to play all of them.

PS I am **** at cash games so that could be why!

if someone posts HH here for the purpose of getting some opinions on how they played them or how others would've played them and then proceed to ridicule that response by calling them a "nit" is outrageous.it's no wonder more and more of us beginners aren't posting HH here for fear of that kind of reply, that said,
    hand 1 good push
    hand 2 good call
    hand 3 brave call

Calling someone a Nit is hardly outrageous

LOL at the nit comment, calm down there fl&sh.

hand one is a pretty insane push. i think i'd have folded there, possibly called.

hand 2 seems like an easy enough call.

hand 3 is a call for me as people don't usually bet pot on the river with the nuts (or nuttly hands).

If that is all you have to say about why you did what you did then this thread should be moved to the badbeat/brag sticky.

Hand 1 you will get stacked a lot for such a small pot

Hand 2 is standard, you are ahead most of the time, expect KQ/AQ shows up a lot here. Obv KK & AA are possibility's and the river counterfeited you.

Hand 3 I think you need some info to make a profitable call, against unknowns a flush or straight is a high possibility. You were lucky he turned out to be a muppet.
