    Hi,

Hope this isn't off forum. I am thinking of a spontaneous trip over to NYC to see morrissey this weekend. The main fan site is recommending stubhub.com for tickets and sure enough they have exactly what I want and have a collection point near madison square garden. But unfortuantely I can't get the site to accept an irish billing address for the credit card.

Has anyone every had any dealing with stubhub.com?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    C

just to answer my own question for future reference - they currently only accept US credit cards (they say they accept UK/Australia/France as well on their site but it ain't working yet according to the rep I spoke to). I ended up getting a mate with a US card to help me so now have my moz tickets :)

The site is apparently an Ebay sub these days and appears to be a marketplace site that offers some level of guarantee on the tickets sold through them. They also have the key advantage for me of having a pick up location in NYC.

Oh god you poor thing - he canceled! (Or postponed, depending on who you want to believe). What did you do?

Found out at midnight on the Friday, due to travel at 9am on Sat  Had a moment of dispair then decided to go anyways :) Ended up having a ball - went to see Ave Q (broadway musical with muppets) which was excellent. I've never done a NY weekend before but its very doable. We were on the streets of NY, checked in hotel and all, by 2pm Sat. Did loads of tourist stuff Sat and Sun, back on a 7.30pm flight Sun, slept all the way home, landed at 6.30am, back for a shower, work by 9 :D

I made a point of actually picking up the tickets for Moz just in case he does re-schedule but I'm not sure I could afford to do that weekend again anytime soon

Well thank goodness you made the most of it!

If he reschedules, I'm sure that there would be *someone* out there willing and eager to buy your ticket if you couldn't make it, wasn't the gig 100% sold out?!

When the tour was announced I was going to try to MSG myself, but work... I just couldn't. I wonder if he'll come back here again soon?
