The Irish Cricket Union have announced fixture and ticket details for the Quadrangular Series to be held in both the north and south of Ireland next month.

The West Indies will compete with Ireland, Scotland and The Netherlands in the series of One Day International fixtures.

The West Indies will be based in Dublin, taking on The Netherlands on July 10, Scotland on July 12, and Ireland on July 14, all at Clontarf. The other games will all take place at Civil Service Cricket Ground at Stormont in Belfast, with Ireland playing Netherlands on July 11, Scotland playing The Netherlands on July 13, and finally Ireland hosting Scotland in the final game of the competition on July 15.

Irish Cricket Coach Phil Simmons is excited about the forthcoming games, "It’s obviously extra special for me coming up against my old team. (44 year old Simmons played 26 Tests and 143 ODI’s for the West Indies ). I’d expect us to be competitive against the West Indies, and continue our excellent track record against them in Ireland . (Ireland have won 3 times - in 1928, 1969, and 2004). The games with Scotland and The Netherlands will also be important as we look to establish ourselves as the leading Associate nation in World cricket.

ICU Chief Executive Warren Deutrom looked ahead to the games saying, "The ICU is delighted to welcome back the West Indies to Irish shores after such a long-standing and happy association. We are sure their presence, together with our close European neighbours and rivals, Scotland and The Netherlands, will inspire some close-fought matches. From a business perspective, this tournament continues to keep Irish Cricket in the spotlight, and we hope that the Irish squad continues to shine and cement its position of 10th in the ICC rankings in what has been an extraordinary year for our development both on and off the field."

Stephen Kirkpatrick, Head of Retail Banking, Bank of Ireland NI, said "This really has been quite a remarkable year for Irish cricket. They continue to attract high profile international teams to the country, and this will further increase the profile and standing of Irish cricket throughout the world. As official team sponsor, Bank of Ireland is delighted to be associated with this quadrangular series."

Tickets can be purchased from Heather Johnson on +44 (0) 2890 662310 / 2890 201361 and an on-line ticketing facility will also be in operation by the weekend at www.irishcricket.org
