George Michael Rescheduled Concert

    George Michael will be rescheduling his postponed gig from the RDS over 2 nights in the Point Theatre on the 1st & 2nd of August. GM will be the penultimate show before the point closes for 18 months on August 28th.

    are the original tickets still valid?

    had a guy offer me and the girlfriend tickets for €1 the day he cancelled.

    should of taken him up on the offer :p

    what i can't my head around is this.....

    the point capacity = 8,000 *2 nights = 16,000

    the RDS is around = 25,000

    that leaves in an around 9,000 fans out in the cold??

    I'd imagine a lot of people took refunds straight away and the Tuesday wasn't sold out so they probably reckoned 16,000 would do - they're probably not too bothered about whether there'll be any left over. Although I'm hoping there will be. Guess we'll find out on Monday.:cool:

    All ticket rufunds should've been completed by yesterday, read here

    and the Aiken site says
    The RDS tickets can be exchanged from now until this Saturday 30 June at 6.00pm. Should there be any tickets remaining they will then be released for sale Monday 2 July at 9am.
