I'm currently a 18 year old living in Cork going to college soon to do a degree but my other life is in tatters at the moment. I have "Social Anxiety Disorder" and so far have absolutely no friends because of it. It's ruining my life as well by:

1. Fear of public places and great masses of people.
2. Fear of saying things wrong and high senses of embarassment and shame.
3. Fear of social interactions due to fear of being laughed/looked down on.
4. Fear of important events that happen in the future.
5. Fear of something going wrong and great heights of pessimism.
6. Fear of Socialising in general with anyone at any time

If you read the wikipedia article on it, it has all my symptoms there and there nearly all perfectly attached to me.

I haven't seeked help either for this problem and is currently a downward spiral for me. I have it to a high extent and don't know how to treat it and don't want to see a specialist to help me. Thus, it's a dilemma for me for a long time now but feel I have to do something to curb the problem.
