Hi folks, need a bit of advice. Posted this in the sticky but after 2 days got no replies. Need to order soon to ensure delivery before holiday. Anyway....

Ok, here's the story. Heading away inter-railing in a while and need to get a camera. Been looking at
    samsung L73 http://www.pixmania.com/ie/uk/549433...html?itag=6506
    Sony DSC W35 http://www.pixmania.com/ie/uk/542318...tml?itag=6506#

Seem to be fairly similar on the face of it. Leaning towards L73 because of the fact it takes SD cards (universal etc..) and i also like the look of the control system.

Anyone have any advice or other suggestions? Must be a small, pocket friendly camera, and around the same price as the ones above.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

The only contribution that I can make is to say that my P&S is Samsung NV10. It's a little gem! Absolutely delighted with it. Samsung have made up a lot of ground recently.

yeah that was the one i originally wanted, but 10mp is more than i think i need. the l73 seems to be a slightly downgraded version, and is cheaper, which attracts me to it. Thanks for the advice, still leaning to wards the samsung.
