They really are ugly, remember designation warthog.
Only attractive when they are in action and you are not at receiving end

My choices are Bell UH1 Huey for the beautiful noise, Spitfire for it's lines and it's engine sound, DHC Beaver for being a lovely ould workhorse, MD 500 for being the heli workhorse and the view through the canopy.
And of course Concorde for it's sheer beauty

Tornado for me. I love to see the wings sweep back and forward on tight turns/high speed runs. That and the only thing I've ever heard as loud was the Eurofighter.

Ill be honest , the one that arrives at the airport on time to bring me home at the end of a hard trip abroad is always the most welcome !

Military aircraft, it would be the deHavilland Mosquito.
Civilian, it would have to be the Douglas DC-3. They just don't make 'em like that anymore.

The C17 is probably one of my favourites too.......lovely beast!!

Electric69....... No doubt it takes more skill to fly a chopper , but it also takes more skill to ride a unicycle than a bike:) , does this make a unicycle more attractive ?

I have quite a bit of fixed wing under my belt but never even been a passenger in a helecopter .

I had forgotten how goot the F104 looks , damn they make the nicest sound as well , a wierd wailing sound.
