This was the best quiz show ever to appear on tv anywhere imo.
When i left Dublin it was still on C4 but as i didn't have C4 untill recently i was somewhat pissed to see it was no longer been aired.

I've read on wikipedia that it may very well be back on the air in early 2008 on its usual slot and with the great William G. Stewart as MC. Can any one shed any light on this? It is been re run on one of the sky channels but its just not the same...

One of the few tv programs that made you want to read and learn more and if that ain't a good enough reason to bring it back then i may just sit with the rest of the **** wits and watch BB.

pS. Am i the only one that thinks C4 is complete and utter ****e...

I like hard proper quiz shows and Fifteen to One was king of them all.

I'd love to see it back on air.

15-1 was a great quiz - no messing, big money prizes etc
just tricky questions. I watched quite a bit and even began
to be able to answer some of the questions about english
counties and cities etc... so double points for those :) !

There are unconfirmed rumors going around that it could come
back - William G. is the owner of the show format .. so you
    never know.

Funny you should say that about english counties as that was always my weak point but i had a system, well kinda. No matter what the question was with regard to english counties unless i knew the answer was just to say Shropshire cos it was always almost something with shire in the answer and you know what...i have yet to get one right after many years of watching...
Kinda like that guy on QI who does the same thing with blue whales. Very good show also..

not the only one. Recently for reasons unknown to me, C4 E4 and Discovery channels turned to snowy screens for about two weeks. Only thing I missed on C4 was the news.

I agree ... C4 used to have some great documentaries like Equinox
    - but all that seems to have vanished to make room for Big Brother
    and its spin offs...
