I'm hoping to do a masters in maynooth next year and i've applied for res. I'm just wondering when i'll hear if i've been successful and if I am how early can I move into Res. I phoned the economics dept and the secretary said term starts around the 18th. Would I be able to move in as early as the start of september?

Also what are my chances of getting Res as i'm from Dublin.

Current students already know... but MA students from outside the college... not sure. Give them a ring, they are usually lovely and willing to help.

You can move in on the 10th of September, i'd say you could push for the 9th but that's as early as you could get it.

If I don't get campus where are the best place to live in maynooth, by best I mean nearest to college and safest. I'm willing to pay up to €450 for a double room in a shared place and €600 for a bedsit but i've only seen one bedsit on daft.

Is the college near the train station? Is it in the town centre?

Also how is wireless broadband in maynooth?

north campus is not very far from train station. for exemple to walk form John hume building (where I work) it's only 10-15 minutes max. from south campus only five minutes (walk each times).

For wireless broadband I don't know I live in Santry.
There is lot of nice place to find accomodation around NUIM. You can find some nice accomodations. Try daft website you can easily find something.

    Good luck !
