    Has anyone heard of this plant? I have them at my workplace and boss asked me to take care of them but they look like they are already dieing. HELP.

    Mine looks like this. Something similar. And has really many dry leaves on it. And even on green ones are a lot yellow spots.

    It looks almost the same but mine HUGE, like 2m in height. And I have 3 big pots of them!!! ::eek:

    So how to care after them I can look at the oldest thread I guess. Thank you. If you have any new ideas please feel free to write in here. :)

    Brief Yucca care....

    Give it a position in light, but not in full sunlight.
    Water with collected rain water, not tap water
    Water regularly but let the compost dry out between waterings
    You will barely have to water it in winter at all.
    You can move the plant outdoors for a while in summer, placing it in a calm, wind free situation.
    Be careful of your eyes when working around the plant as the leaf tips are very sharp and can cause you to lose an eye.

    Be very careful not to overwater. They need very little water and will thrive.

    I had three of these and have one of the originals left which is beginning to droop now. Has a nice offshoot groing out the trunk at the moment though !

    I also saw a sideroot from one of the the dead plants which I potted and now is doing very well !!!
