Gametime+ and your pokertracker alias?

I sometimes change my userid in pt to just one of my aliases as I want to see how I'm doing specifically on that alias. When I do this though Gametime+ doesn't pick up on it though and the stats that are displayed for me are the total hand stats for that user - the same as if it was just any random user and not the stats on how I've been playing on just the table I'm sitting on which is the option I chose in GT+.

Anyone have any ideas on why GT+ doesn't recognise the new userid as me!?

I'm confused. You want to see how you're playing on your current table?

If so go into preferences, player stats, select 'show my stats' and then 'use only the current session for my stats'.

Otherwise I'm not sure what you're asking.

When you take out the alias from the group of alias you'll need to put that name as the "Automatically display my stats, my player Id is: ....." option in the preferences of PT. This should work as I think gametime uses this field to see which player is you.

Soz Redjoker, my original question was worded pretty crap.

I basically changed my userid in pokertracker but Gametime+ didn't detect it. Anyway I know about these setting in GT+, thanks anyway though.

Yeah I was doing this, I even restarted pt after to see if it would make a difference to GT+ picking it up, but nah it didn't. maybe I need to restart the pc or change some setting in the registry for gt. I'll have a look in a minute when i finish playing.

I realise this is f-all interest to 99.9999% of poker players but maybe there's a few out there who might come across the same thing, so thought it only fair that I post a solution to the question I posted in the first place.

I've done a bit of investigating into the issue, gt+ at least for me does not appear to register a change of user(it didn't even do it after I reinstalled it).

The only way I found to change it was to find my player_id from my pokertracker postgressql database and use this number to edit the registry, there's a setting in HKEY_CURRET_USER/Software/GameTimePlus called PlayerId and if you edit this to correspond to your actual playerid it will work then.
