    Howdy all

    This game is kicking off at 10.30 again tonight - there's only one table and there's lots of interest so turn up on time to be assured of a seat

    The min/max buyin/reload is 250/500 respectively

    turn up and see the strangest of stuff like me playing tight & whitty calling AIPF with Q4s :eek:

    The game was very enjoyable last week, i'm looking forward to this again

    vgg again last night, with lots of money on the table - people kept flopping sets everywhere - quads were flopped 3 times :eek: alas i couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, but sometimes that's a good thing:

    tight useless player (ahem boardsie lol) raises pf to whatever - say 10
    a couple of callers including me and another boardsie (set master calling station fish :eek: )

    flop comes 942r

    tight useless one bets 50 (his bet sizing is spectular)
    calling station one calls
    I fold T2 (i'm a rock - but i was thinking of pumping it...)

    turn 7 (135ish)

    rock boy pushes for 800 odd

    instacalled by setking with 77 !!!

    rockboy tables 99 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (leaves the other with 12 quid)

    ...people found it "funny" and the gentleman with 77 was told that if he was any good he should have folded in that spot etc...

    lol like wtf?????

    anyway, i was at sed table having running great as anyone who was there knows! :)

    and just to correct it, i straddled for 7 that hand so tight uselss QUADMASTER player didnt have to raise! :rolleyes:


    his pot bet is not an issue for me, his turn bet of 720 into a 130 pot is the puzzling one, but knowing this player,i fold everything except 99.....im not saying i fold a set alot, i am saying that in this particular situation i find a fold!!! he does not risk his whole stack without having the nuts at that point in time, i kno this from past experience, and before mentioned set master calling station fish knows this aswell!!

    im not saying its the easiest thing in the world to do, but there i fold..in that moment i fold...if it was u had made the bet id have beat u into the pot :D

    if i ever played a hand like that you have my full permission to shoot me!! - then again it is sorta a good (results orientated) bet?!?!

    his bet when he min raised pat on the turn after flopping quads was one of the worst bets i've seen - i undestand about trying to pot build, but it was oh so bad there against a fish betting his draw - call or make a scared raise - the min raise sucked so bad even fishie fart found a fold!!

    yes that min raise was horrible!!! even the devil was able to get off a draw lol!! :D i thought george was ridiculusly unlucky wen he hit that 1 outer on the turn!! its the only hand that cud possibly call ians uber overbet!!!! but hey as u sed lets go results based on this!! he maximised value from the pot :rolleyes:
