    Hi all,

I need a new golf bag for a variety of reasons. Basically i want a good carry bag, lots of pockets, comfortable, high standard. Any ideas will be welcomed!

I know a lot of people will say it's just a bag and it just carries your clubs but I'm a gadget guy so I like extra features on everything!

    Can't recommend these enough: http://www.bagboycompany.com/
Cam across them in the US and they have some really cool stuff, just had a look at their International Sellers section and they even have a UK site (so save on VAT & Duty) http://www.bagboy.co.uk/

They're like the Apple Mac of Golf Bags!

The last three carry bags i've had have been Pings. All been excellent. Picked up my last one in JJB in the Uk for about 70 pounds. Still in great nick and no problems.

Anyone know where I can pick up a leather cart bag (i.e. waterproof, not these nylon bags that get soaked at the first drop of rain)

The Powakaddy deluxe bag in McGuirks is your only man!! He should be able to knock it down to about €120 also. Got mine last week

not sure why so many people are putting cart bags up instead of carry
bags like the OP asked for?

try an ogio bag with their new schling carry system:

ogio make bags for a lot of the other manufacturers, callaway for instance.

Exact bag I have. The shling takes a bit of getting used to (still haven't)

I tried it out for a round in the states and have been thinking about getting one for here, but I already have a newish bag so hard to justify.

I found it much easier to get on and off than a normal carry bag, but a little less comfortable to wear. However that was for one round only, what are your
    thoughts on it?

Sourced it via the States too, so no returns!

I just haven't got used to it on both shoulders. The Shling looks easy to mount on Ogio's website (and of course it is), just used to having the single strap up til now.

Anyway its the latest thing, so had to have it!

    SteadyEddie

I pick all my gear from www.tgw.com but you have to have a US postal address to land it.

How do I find it now? Well I used my cart yesterday and left the shling in the boot!

On the subject of bags I have a brand new unused Titleist stand/carry bag lying in the garage it is an unwanted prize. It is as far as I know one of their new range as I won it a few months ago.It has loads of pockets, drink cooler pouch, umbrella holder and all the usual bits and pieces. If anybody is intersted in taking it off my hands for a modest sum please let me know .Also have a smaller one as well which would suit a female or younger player
