Anyone got any opinions on whether 3 months is enough study time to take a crack at all 8 FE1 exams??

honestly, i think you're crazy if you're planning that... have a crack at 4 or 5 and you'll have a good chance.. of course it really depends on the kind of person you are also.. if this is your first time and you have no experience of these kind of exams i would absolutely only do 4.. the first sitting is tough but will really help you in further sitings.. good luck! i have eu on the 3rd october and im giving myself 7 weeks just for that!

I agree with Kronsington on this one. You have to remember that if you dont get at least three in your first sitting, you dont get to keep any of them so dont spread yourself too thinly. Sit four, get at least three and then take it from there. i admire your enthusiasm though...keep it up..you'll need it! ;)

if its your first sitting, then i'd say no chance. you might get 5 or 6, but why put yourself under the added pressure.

i'd recommend doing 5 the first sitting, and then the remaining 3 (or more) a few months later. The second sitting will be easier, or so i found anyway. I spent the whole summer studying for my first four, and only 8 wks for the second four (but I always regretted not doing five the first time)!

On the other hand, if you've already had a crack at them, then it is possible to try for all eight (a mate of mine done that and got seven on her second sitting - the dreaded EU beign the only problem), but still will be extremely tough and you can say goodbye to your life for the next while.....

agree with the other posters, obviously there's always stories of a friend of a friend who sat eight and got them all, but 95% of people need at least two and maybe more sittings, if you've never done law before i think it'd be pretty impossible to get eight in one go. i know at least 3 people with law degrees who at the next sitting will be tryin to get their first 3 for a third and fouurth time, so dont underestimate how difficult they are. think most people get abit of shock once they start studying not realising the task at hand!
having said that, sit four, put in some very good studying and you should get thru them

Whats the point in sitting all of them in September/October? If you passed them all, you'd be starting PPC1 in August/Sptember 2008. If you sat half now and half next April you'd still be starting PPC1 in August/Sptember 2008. Why kill yourself trying to do them all in one go when it wouldn't save you any time anyway?
