new dell laptop range in the US

    New Dell Laptops are on the US Dell Site. Pretty sure there the replacement for the 1501/6400/9400 line. They use the new Santa Rosa intel thing specs look good a few things missing though but you can throw 4gb of RAM into them they are the 1520/1720.

    By the looks of things were getting them here on the 27th/28th

    I think somebody posted a thread here a while back about the colours - flamingo pink, flaming red, and so on. Lovely.

    Also, it is interesting to note that in the US, Dell are now selling in shops, Wal-Mart to be exact. Aren't they coming to Ireland in the guise of Asda? It wouldn't take a stretch of the imagination for them to start selling comsumer electronics in the same way Tesco do.

    Should be interesting.

    I think it was in the Indo last week - Dell will be selling through Tesco.
