    Hey,
My friends have booked 3, 4bed apartments in Spain with budget travel as a package. Currently there are 9 going, with 3 people staying per room. What i was wondering is, would it be allowed for someone to just fly over and stay in one of the apartments, having nothing to do with Budget travel, since the rooms cater for 4, or would there be trouble with the reps?

Edit: i said bedroom, but i meant bed, i think you got that anyway...

It depends on the property in question, but generally if you book for nine people, only nine will be allowed to stay.

If you get caught with more people staying than are booked, the property could kick you out or charge you for the extra people, and Budget will not assist you in any way if you get into trouble with the property. In fact, nowadays most reps (for any tour operator) are only interested in selling excursions, so don't expect any help!

This reminds me of the time a bunch of us rented a villa in Portugal. One guy only found out at the last minute he could come and so booked a flight only, rather than the full package the rest of us had booked. One day the rep came to check everything was ok, so the extra guy ran upstairs to be out of the way. Coincidentally at that time the cleaner was in too, so she got a bit of a surprise when she walked into the bathroom to find this guy sitting on the toilet, with the seat down and his pants up, reading a book. We don't know if she ever said anything to the rep or not, but we never heard anything from her about it.

I know this is of absolutely no use to the OP, but I just thought I'd share the story. :D
