New band, hard rock with a pink floyd kinda feel

    Hey I'm a guitarist aged 21 been playing for six years, living on the northside of dublin, into all types of music, rock, metal, classical, jazz etc and i'm looking to start up a new band something with a pink floyd kind of feel, you know lots of reverb etc, influences on me guitar wise would be marty friedman, jason becker, dave gilmour, chuck schuldiner, joe satriani etc, looking to make some real good thought provoking music, nothing too heavy but with a bit of kick and still some great clean bits just a bit of crunch on guitars etc, really i'm looking for a bassist, drummer or maybe even keyboard player to get things moving, if things got moving would look to practice in town, should have samples of what i'm trying to do up soon, if your interested so far please let me know, only people who are serious also, and yea having listed pink floyd i aint really into getting wasted and playing really just wanna make some good music so serious people only.

    At the moment Im looking for good musicians becose I want to start a new original heavy metal band...kind a ozzy osbourne and pink floyd feeling....


    My influences are: ozzy,toto, lukather, the beatles, dream theatre, pink floyd, metallica, megadeth, Queen, puccini, paganini, hendrix,megadeth van halen,vai, satriani, dokken, deep purple, black sabath, steve wonder, mr big, carl orff, extreeme...and many more:rolleyes:
