Problem with Jap import PS3

    Recently i,ve purchased a japanese PS3 as i was told they are region free. I can tune it into my tv but its only black and white. Have tried it on a plasma tv and its in colour but was told not to play games on a plasma tv. Can anyone tell me if i,ll be able to get it to work on the tv in colour? The tv is a mitsubishi black diamond. All advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Theres no problems playing games on a plasma.

    The black diamond doesn't accept NTSC signals which is what JPN uses so you will either need a RGB scart cable or just play it on the plasma.
