I'm having a problem matching the colour for a 1975 MGB GT Jubilee edition.

I went to Vinny Burns today to get the paint matched but they don't have the code in the system.

So what do i do now?

The code I have is BLVC 25

Hit the interweb and check out ebay for a start.

The alternative code is Dupont #30012, check out the MG message boards.

    Mike.

    Manufacturer's Code BLVC 25
    Ault & Wibourg/Berger/Gipgloss 28670
    ICI 7985
    PPG/Ditzler(US) 44446
    Dupont (US) 30012
    Glasso/Rinshead Mason(US) 6659

I've seen it also listed as BLVC 254 New British Racing Green. (paints4u.com in the UK)

As I have made paint ordering blunders in the past. I'd recommend taking a sample of the colour if you can and get it matched. Either that, or find another paint dealer with a bigger database of colours.

    Good luck,
    Rich

I'll go back and see what they say, the chap who was dealing with me said the code was not on the system but he had green paint on his fingers. I might try someone else.
