My Line of Thinking? Was it right?

Lads, don't mind the details, hazy, but I'd like my line of thinking critiqued.

Last Monday, Jackpot 1/1 cash Game.

I'm UTG and pick up QdQs, I pot it to 4 (ffs)

3 callers. I think It was an unknown and Trippie in the Hi-jack.

    Flop:
    KK2r

I Bet 15, I get min raised my unknown and Trippie folds.
    I Flat Call.

    Turn 5d
I pot it again for 85.
He dwells up for a few mins and calls.

    River7c
I check, He pushed and I Insta Called.

I was right this time, I had him on an underpair i.e jj 1010 and my river check was to induce that exact bet although I have been wondering:

As played is that call right a ,majority of the time?

I put him on such a definite hand because of the flop min-raise (generally I find weak players do this to convey strength on a paired board)

Again, I figured in my thinking process, He would have just flat called the flop with the K, Possibly Raised the Turn and if not I think a smaller river bet or nicely weighted value bet would have made me think he had the King more so than the over zealous push?

Anyway, how was my play? Would anyone play a King like this here?

    Thanks Lads

with me behind you and raising every hand(i presume i was) i would of been more inclined to limp reraise here, with the raise on the flop i very rarely see a k min raise there as its pot limit and they want to build a pot as quick as possible.

I like the bet out on the turn it is something i do a lot as i find it throws people off as they think because they check raised/re-raised they will be getting a free card or will be able to dictate the play for themselves and then the check on the river works a treat as if you bet and he reraises you you cant call unless you are insanely priced in however by doing a check call you will win far more times to make it the right play imo

also the limp reraise would of gotten a call from the other guy preflop and probably me as well so you would of been able to get in on the flop against him most likely

do you think he would have called a push with his 99 on thr flop? I dont think so. Yes if he had re-raised the turn I was gone like a shot.

weak players do do this on a paired flop yes, but your usually up against weak players in a 1/1 jackpot game.

id be more inclined to check call the flop, check the turn and vb the river provided im not getting too heavy action.

if you put him on an underpair then call, but my read would have to be fairly solid as this is how a weak player would play a king.

I would check the turn, river is fine against the right player.
