Trying to remember his name... he did a series that was accompanied by stop-motion animation on the Irish Legends, also made a few appearances on the Late Late. Had a very thick accent, Kerry if I remember right.

Don't ask me his name, he was in my year in Electronic Engineering in the CIT down here in Cork though!

Pretty sure it's the great seanchai Eddie Lenihan you're thinking of. Legend :)

I think this was a young lad, he'd be my age now, 28, he was on the Late Late Toy Show at the age of 14 or something, telling a story about a drunk guy on the way home stopping a Gard and asking him if he knew a door that would fit the key in his hand.

Kind of remember that, he was a young chap alright and used to wear a farmer cap as far as I can remember. :)

RUU I think he was Micheal O'Suilleabhan from Kerry, used to dress like a farmer with the peaked cap and was on with Eamonn Kelly and Eddie Lenihan on a few telly programmes.
