Recording from TV-Legal?

    Apoligies if this is in the wrong forum. Is recording from the T.V. legal. Sky + boxes and recordable DVD players are vey popular but is it even legal?

    I think it's legal but only if it's for personal usage.

    As Byte stated its legal to record for personal use, this means playback in your own home, it does not include playing at a party, local pub or society etc...
